AFRICAN ORTHODOX ARCHDIOCESE FIRE RELIEF FUND
Every Orthodox parish in the 43 countries on the African continent that have an Orthodox congregation have begun sending money to Greece.
LOCAL EFFORTS
In Argentina: The Greek community of Argentina " Nostos" has begun a fundraising drive thru depositing money at the following account.

In Albania:
The Orthodox Church of Albania, spearheaded by Archbishop of Tirana and all Albania, Anastasios; has donated $80,000 to Greece.
In Australia: The Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia Inc. has established a fundraising appeal – "Greek Bushfire Relief Fund". This fund will enable donations to be made from around Australia through any Commonwealth Bank branch. 100,000 Australian Dollars have already been donated. In Bahrain The Greek community in Bahrain is to start a fundraising drive. More than 160 Greeks are estimated to live in Bahrain and work mainly in the construction, engineering, hospitality and banking sectors and in the airline and fishing industry. The Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry has set up a special solidarity account for those interested in providing assistance to the people affected by the fires. A special 24-hour call centre has also been set up to make communication with Greece easier and is available on 0030 2103681912. The Greek community in Toronto has set up an account to aid relief efforts in the embattled country. You can donate at the ScotiaBank at: 661 Danforth Ave. Acct # 84772-01297-12
The Hellenic community of Montreal along with the Hellenic Community of Laval have also set up an account at a local ScotiaBank at the Jean Talon Branch. The account number is 63081 0151610. You can also learn more about their future efforts in the attached PDF.
Canadian Emergency Fund
The Greek community of Vancouver, British Columbia has also established a fund for the Greek Fire Relief. The Greek Fire Relief Fund of BC is being spearheaded by the Hellenic Canadian Congress of BC.

SAE (World Council of Hellenes Abroad) has extended the following APPEAL.
SAE has already donated about $50,000 to Greece thru the program Plant your Roots in Greece, which encourages the planting of new forests for Greece.
AHEPA has sent a message to mobilize every AHEPA chapter in the country to prepare care packages to send to Greece.
"The widespread fires throughout Greece have devastated entire communities and cities. Thousands of Greek families are without homes, shelter, clothing and food. They have lost everything, except hope. The AHEPA Emergency Greek Fire Relief Fund has been established to channel donations directly to the local relief efforts in Greece. DONATE
