Description
As part of Athens Sister City we are organizing a 5K race and after party in Chicago's Greektown to help raise funds to support The Runners sculpture project. This sculpture will be a donation from the Chicago-Athens Sister City Committee of the Chicago Sister Cities International Program (CSCIP) to the City of Chicago Public Art Collection for permanent installation at O'Hare International Airport, terminal 5.
The 5k race and block party will kick off Greek Fest and will take place on August 21, 2008, registration at 5pm, race at 7pm, block party until 11pm in Greektown!
