The London Greek Film Festival is the crossroad between West and East that leads us to discover and explore the idea of globalisation through a Hellenic glance. It aims to introduce Greek film to the international public, but at the same time fosters a challenge for artists from all over the world to showcase anything Greek! Dedicated to the moving image, the LGFF invites the spectator to an extravagant experience. A celebration of the image as entity, the London Greek Film Festival’s character is different, vivid, and absolutely interactive.
It is where we will celebrate new technologies and how they have revolutionised the moving image. But that’s not all! The London Greek Film Festival will offer the sweetest mix of global influences and state of the art technology while encompassing Greek heritage and culture.
The London Greek Film Festival is a project that promotes the kind of open creativity which integrates the speed of information and digital culture as demonstrated in feature fiction films, short films, music videos, documentaries, animation, dance films, student movies and video art.
