With Greece hosting the Euro Song Contest next year, and Athens anticipating participants from all over Europe to converge in the capital, the Euro Contest organizers asked permission for a similar traffic pattern to be set up, as was used during the Olympics, to help facilitate the increase of traffic to the OAKA complex.
