Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyanni said Greece was not ready to see a marriage of the EU and Turkey. However, Bakoyanni did say a union would benefit Greece.
She also stated Ankara should open its ports to Greek Cypriot flagged vessels and was critical of Turkey holding the position that Greece’s proposed expansion of its territorial waters in the Aegean to the 12 mile limit would be a justification for war as this did not fit the EU vision.
DF: Two weeks on the job and Dora ain't holding back. We love it.
