The Hellenic Capital Market Commission rejected Bank of Cyprus' request to withdraw its 3.78 bln eur offer for Emporiki Bank. The commission called the banks conditions for withdrawl 'illegal'.
DF: If the Bank of Cyprus were to leave the table, France's Credit Agricole would be Emporiki's only suitor.
